EMP 310W : Disasters and Emergency Management

This course examines policies for the management of hazards, emergencies, and disasters at the national and international levels, with a focus on the interaction of social and natural forces in disaster management.  This course covers emergency management principles and case studies of major disasters that provide insight into the professional challenges of disaster mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.
