Regional Geography of the Pacific Rim
This course provides students with an introduction to geographic concepts and perspectives from both
physical and human geography while exploring the five major regions along the Pacific Rim: North America, Central
and South America, Australia and Oceania, East Asia, and Southeast Asia. Topics covered include the physical
environment, environmental issues, human patterns over time, economic and political issues, and sociocultural
issues.
