Residence Halls (Graduate)

Limited residence hall housing is available for single full-time graduate students throughout the academic year. The residence halls at Soka University of America are designed to stimulate group interactions through shared spaces such as the Multi- Purpose Rooms, Living Rooms, and Exercise Rooms. Graduate students living on campus will also have access to the residence hall Graduate Residents’ Lounge.

Graduate students are accommodated in one of the eight residence halls on campus with two graduate students assigned to a suite. Resident housing features:

  • Shared bathroom per suite
  • Wireless SokaNet and Internet access
  • Cherry wood twin bed, desk with book hutch, and wardrobe closet for each student
  • I.D. Card security access
  • Indoor bicycle storage

Room and Board fees will be charged on a per session basis, Fall Session and Spring Session, and are due and payable at the beginning of each session along with the tuition payment. The term of the housing contract will be for the academic year. Soka University does not have accommodations for students with families.
