SOC 310 : Social Problems

This course introduces students to major social problems in America and other societies. Students learn to apply sociology concepts and theories to social problems and to analyze them from diffrent perspectives and comparatively across different countries and cultures. Emphasis will be placed on class discussions, problem solving and student projects and reports.
